Washington Trails Association Photo Tips

Check out our photo tips on the Washington Trails Association's Website www.wta.org. The WTA is announcing its annual Northwest Exposure Photo Contest winners, you can see those here. The Washington Trails Association works tirelessly improving, maintaining, and repairing hiking trails across the state of Washington. They lobby hard for conservation and Andrew Engleson puts out a great bi-monthly magazine. The Northwest Exposure Photo Contest is where I had my first color photo published back in 2003. The contest gets more competitive each year and the awesome winning shots are now on display in Seattle at the National Parks Conservation Association Gallery in Seattle from Jan. 8 through March 28, 2009. We're always happy to contribute photos and writing to try to give a little something back and help conserve one of the best parts of Washington State.
